One week in Asia

Joe and I arrived safely in Bangkok 30 hours later. Our flight originated at JFK, flew across the US to LA, to Tokyo, Japan, and then finally Bangkok. It wasn’t the most efficient but I was flying on miles, and Joe is just a sucker.

Caitlyn was gracious and hosted us for a night at her fancy crib in Bangkok. She also introduced us to the Bangkok lesbian scene which was pretty interesting. The Thais were very curious about whether I was a top or a bottom. I left them in wonder. We woke up very early the next morning for our long bus ride to Trat, where we caught a ferry to Koh Chang, an amazing island in Thailand.

Koh Chang was amazing….We managed to stumble upon the only foosball table in the island and played a bunch of games with the locals. That was ridiculous! The table was handmade and were made out of quality materials that we do not see in the US anymore.

We rented a motorbike and Joe was a 10 year old kid on it. I was hanging on for dear life…

The food was amazing, the weather perfect, the locals- the best. After 4 days there, we left the island. I was weepy but Joe was excited for Hanoi. We’ve been in Hanoi now for 2 days and I’m trying to not get ripped off and run over by a motorcycle. The traffic is OFF THE HOOK!

So far, I’ve been kind of disappointed with Vietnam. I uploaded pictures to my facebook.

Update soon.
