WGDFC Trophy
Every year around this time, over a hundred graphic designers meet, not to show off their new favorite typeface, or talk about the golden section, but to face head to head on a table full of plastic men. The world’s biggest Graphic Design Foosball Championship is thrown by the talents of karlssonwilker inc. and The Office of Paul Sahre (O.O.P.S.). The only thing that pleases yours truly more than perfect kerning and subliminal grids is the game of foosball. And last year, with interactive designer, Luis Gonzalez, SIa Ea Design was the proud champion and took home the coveted one legged trophy…in addition to a pretty penny.
We’re very excited to play again this yr and defend our title! The tournament is tomorrow and I had just finished our uniforms. Check it out.
